Management of structured data

You can manage structured information of product features (attributes), capacity or keywords. An important feature of our system simplyfying the input of such a data. It’s not necessary to redefine data if a group of products have the same properties. We can work with classifications, you can describe your products with a standardized classification such as eCl@ss, ETIM or UN/CEFACT. This approach allows for clearer descriptions, which can improve cross-system understanding between you and your business partners.

Group formation and hierarchy

In a printed catalog, e-shop or other channels items are grouped to make customer navigation easier. We provide a solution where each item or group can be assigned into multiple groups and appear in many different places. In addition to the common view, it is also possible to define a relationship at the level of a similar product or accessory between groups and items.

Management of unstructured data

All product descriptions can be saved in Rich Text Format. Descriptions can be translated into any number of languages which can all be easily managed through PIMICS.

Media management

Some of a company's most important assets are digital - files such as pictures, documents, videos, sounds and more. Our solutions allow you to better manage, line up and classify your digital assets so that users can easily use them for web and catalog channels.

Automatic data integrity check

For any vendor, it‘s  very important to do automatic control for data preparation. Each item or group is reviewed before publication in accordance with user rules to prevent the customer from seeing an item without full data. This step eliminates later errors, such as missing or incorrect text, price or product properties and saves your time to solve later issues with incompleted data.

Supply Catalog

In a perfect world, product data would be produced only once during manufacturer and vendors would be able to choose what to display. We have a long way to get there, but PIMICS's functionality to import product data in standardized formats like BMECat, Datanorm or Excel can certainly help. Data is grouped into supplier catalogs, which vendors can browse through and select which products to offer. You simply save time without the need to redefine data.


As detailed in the previous points, PIMICS can gather complete, reviewed product data in one system, which is now ready to be published.
When publishing data, vendors have the ability to select parts of the master data based on the space or techology of the desired channel. For example, in a printed catalog there is not enough space to display all of features, while an e-shop has no such limits. Additionally, PIMICS allows for different formatting in print and online.
With this functionality, vendors can create both a comprehensive year-round catalog or e-shop, as well as a smalleror seasonal publications such as a sale flyer, quote proposal, or a product website for a specific line of products.


There is a lot of information to be found online about omni-channel, but what do deployments actually look like? A convenient solution is to have one centralized location where all product information is concentrated, such as where a product is online, where it is in your store, and so on. This data is then completed with information for the current user from one database, such as price or history. It then goes through the channels progressively before deciding to buy the product. This makes the shopping experience smoother, and helps increase customer retention rate.
Have you had an experience where a company has several sales points - customer service, an e-shop, and a store, that aren’t integrated? For example, attempting to view an online order with a status that you made through customer service or a store? The solution to this lack of cohesion is omni-channel.


Our solutions are very often linked to e-shops or product portals of our customers who use software such as Shopware or Kentico. An important part of this integration is that all data (such as product information, orders, and users) stays together in Dynamics NAV. This allows for a single place and uniform processes for data management.

Data export

We offer integration in popular standardized formats, such as BMECat, Datanorm or Open Catalog Interface (OCI).
We also offer integration with Amazon and eBay, and have extensive experience with the integration of smaller markets using standard formats.

Printing of Catalogs

With our solution, it‘s possible to print large, seasonal or industry catalogs. The catalog designing itself is primarily done through Adobe InDesign.
Customers can use either a fully automatic design, with the entire catalog being generated from a template and PIM data, or semiautomatic, which allows for customizing of data and graphics.
In either case, the catalog printing time is shortened, which reduces the total cost. A major contributor is the fact that graphics are rendered independant of content. The designing process can also detect and automatically update incomplete or outdated product info, without the need for manual interference.

API and integration

Our system has an open API, so all data can be published using REST services. We offer a variety of web services for integration, such as e-shop orders or stock availability.
