Allium Ltd. was established in 1994. Since the establishment it has been operating mainly in the Swiss market. The first projects realized for Swiss clients concerned launching and implementation of the MFG/PRO information system (the product of QAD Inc., USA) for engineering plants.
During the year 1994 our company began to develop an own information system for customers in the texile industry. A year later, on the occasion of INVEX 1995 trade fair, Allium presented their own complex information system ALLIS defined for a textile plant management.
In 1997 Allium started co-operation with the Swiss company Sales Support System AG which was working on the development of the marketing system, Sales Support System (SSS). In the same year the corporation entered the Czech market with the Czech version of the system and started to participate in its development. Currently, SSS is being fully developed by a team of specialists in our company in the Czech Republic.
As another step, co-operations with other Swiss companies were established. At present, Allium acts as a system integrator and a tailor-made software supplier in the Swiss market. The company supplies economic and accountancy software, marketing software, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) applications, etc.
Our activities within the Czech market are oriented especially towards marketing. We provide consultancy services, education, marketing strategy analysis and organize regular seminars specialized on marketing.
In the year 2000 Allium company decided to expand the portfolio of its products and services by a complex ERP systems Navision Financials and Navision Attain. The configuration of these is most suitable for business, distributing and manufacturing companies and for others whose substantial activity is the project management. Our performances within this area are accomplished through the most up-dated technologies and our thorough comprehension of all essential areas such as
and based on the results we have gained through applying the principles of TOC (Theory of Constraints).
In 2001, Allium Ltd. and Navision Inc. became partners. The inevitable subsequence of this strategic step was an enrichment of our staff foundation by new, highly qualified specialists already certified by Navision company. In the same year, Allium Ltd. was awarded the status NSC (Navision Solution Centre).
On the 11. 7. 2002 the firm Navision was bought by the company Microsoft. From that point on, Navision will be operating within Microsoft Business Solutions. This fact also brings about the change of the partner name - former Navision Solution Center is now Microsoft Certified Business Solutions Partner.
During the years of operation in the Swiss market Allium has built up a good position in its branch of business there. The business connections that were established could offer a large potential for the future business. That's why the company intended to build up a Swiss subsidiary which could enable to take care of more customers and also ensure a better availability of provided services. This plan was carried out on November 27, 2003 by the establishment of Allium (Schweiz) GmbH. The main business of the new company is providing of services in the area of ERP for new customers.
Our primary intention in the mentioned area is to create long-term partnerships with our clients. The ERP systems' supply from the portfolio of Microsoft Business Solutions is only a part of the offer to our customers. We consider the main significance of our sevices in setting up long-run consultancies in all areas of strategic processes management, in asset management and in retaining the gained competitive advantages.
